The new apprehension of Nájera, alias “La Gallina”, according to unofficial sources, resulted from a careful operation carried out in coordination of elements of the different law enforcement organizations of Yucatan.

Nájera Gutiérrez was arrested in a street of a northwestern suburb of Mérida, near Dzityá.

At the moment he would be in the premises of the State Attorney General, accused of crimes of common law.

Previously, a federal judge released Nájera despite the fact that SSP elements detained him in a Tizimín checkpoint allegedly in possession of high-caliber weapons of exclusive use of the Army.
