According to an article published by Buzzfeed, Salma Hayek denied Donald Trump a date, while she was in a serious relationship.

The Oscar nominated actress shared her story in an interview on the Los Angeles based Spanish radio show “El Show del Mandril.” The show’s host asked Hayek if she believed recent allegations of sexual misconduct made against Trump were true, to which she responded “yes” and went on to share her own run-in with the real estate mogul and TV personality.

Hayek said that she had a boyfriend when she met Trump. The Republican candidate attempted to befriend her boyfriend in order to get Hayek’s number from him. He eventually got it, called her, and asked her out on a date.

Hayek stated that she told the man she wouldn’t go out with him even if she didn’t have a boyfriend.

Some time after that phone call, she was told by someone at the National Enquirer that it was Trump who sold the tabloid the story in which he allegedly had rejected a date with Salma, because she’s way too short.

Hayek finished the interview by saying that Trump is bad news for the Latino community in the United States and urged listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton on November 8.
