With an investment of 35 million pesos ($1.9 million USD), Grupo Plenum began the construction of its building in the Science and Technology Park of Merida (Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Mérida), where they would employ at least 250 professionals and experts in the first stage and up to 600 later on.
Grupo Plenum CEO, Victor Gutierrez Martinez, delivered a speech before Governor Rolando Zapata Bello, Mayor Mauricio Vila Dosal, and other federal and state authorities and entrepreneurs:
“We believe in Yucatan, that is why we decided to invest, design and build here, because Yucatan is the talent training center in Southeast Mexico, with the highest rate of mathematicians per capita in the country”.
“Plenum is a 100 percent Yucatecan company, with more than 25 years of experience and continous operation in the state”.
The ceremony took place at the forecourt of the Science Park “Heuristic”Centre.
In its first stage, the Plenum Group building covers a total of 1.5 hectares and will bring together the talents of more than 250 employees. (SIPSE)
Plenum’s most important customers are Pemex, Honeywell, Mexico’s federal government, state governments, Bepensa, Cotemar and the government of El Salvador, among others.
This will be one of the first clusters to have its corporate headquarters in the Science Park, which will allow the four companies that comprise the ecosystem to strengthen research, innovation and education in this place.
Governor Rolando Zapata said that with the arrival of this corporation, the Science Park is now entering a dimension of technological value, while the company consolidates its vision to attract investment and stimulate the generation of direct and indirect jobs.

The corporation known as “Grupo Plenum” is comprised of four companies: Plenumsoft, Avanx, Cytron Medical and Plenumsoft Energy & Sustainability.
Products
Some of their most important products are: Navic Elboran, which is a system rescue boats smaller fleet; Vitadat, a control deivce for patients with diabetes; and Petrohap, software to visualize and analyze oilfields.
