Try your hand at birdwatching right here in Merida

How many colorful and exotic bird species can you observe right in the parks, backyards and sidewalks of Merida?

Find out Sunday May 15 by participating in the Birdwatching Tour organized by the Pronatura environmental group.

Starting at Santa Ana Park, the birdwatching tour will focus primarily on the West Ecological Park and Kai Luum Park in Merida. Participants will gather at Santa Ana Park at 5:30 a.m. and after viewing birds in the two mentioned parks will return to Santa Ana at 9:30 a.m.

The tour fee of $150 pesos per person includes transportation and a guide. Space is limited, and the deadline for registering is May 13.

Transportation is provided; no private vehicles are allowed on the tour.
