Diving in Playa: warm water, great visibility, strong current and lots of marine life!

Thomaz Monteiro from Brazil went to Playa Del Carmen recently on a diving trip and he had a great time!

He sent a letter to the Yucatan Times’ editor asking for his video to be published on our online newspaper.

Thousands of tourists head to the resort town of Playa del Carmen in Quintana Roo Mexico all year round to relax on the beach, shop and go scuba diving.

Playa del Carmen has become a popular diving destination, since it offers a local diving guide featuring shark diving, reef diving and cenote cavern diving. Not to mention that a USD$6.5 million underwater museum is planned to be developed off Playa…

On his letter, Thomaz Monteiro mentioned he wants to thank this cozy town for a great diving vacation, and therefore wants to share his video with our readers.

Thomaz described his two divings in Playa as amazing, featuring warm water, great visibility and strong current. He used the services of Phantom Divers, a diving business with 25 years of experience that assists divers affiliated to all the diving certification agencies (PADI, SNSI, CMAS; YMCA, ACUC, NAUI)
