Spring break 2016: Are you ready for Cancun or is it ready for you?

Spring break is on – and as every year, college students are flocking to one of the hottest entertainment destinations in the Caribbean and the world, Cancun, Quintana Roo.

From old school party animals to sophisticated bookworms, this is the time of the year when college kids put their midterm studies on hold, and head directly to the Mexican party scene, where comfy world class accommodations and endless entertainment options are waiting for them.

Thanks to its sandy beaches, turquoise waters, numerous mega-resorts (and a drinking age of 18), Cancun has become a Mecca for Springbreakers.

Many major entertainment events will take place this year in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, the Riviera Maya and Tulum, such as the Inception Music Festival, that will bring a full lineup of artists and DJs to venues like Oasis Cancun, Daddy’O and The City for a 30 day stretch of nonstop party.

This one of a kind concept  features 4, 5 or 7 nights packages in Cancun with accomodations, complete access to the music festival and an open bar.

And let’s not forget the Mayan Madness Electronic Music Festival, an international world-class entertainment event that will take place Saturday March 26th on the beach of Caleta Tankah, in Tulum, Quintana Roo, featuring Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike; the celebrated DJs who currently dominate the electronic music scene worldwide.

And as usual, the booze will surely be flowing at all time favorites such as Señor Frogs. Springbreakers can also sleep off a rough night at the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun or the all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
