The survey conducted by “U.S. News & World Report” is intended in many aspects to create the list of best countries in the world to live in, and evaluates factors such as quality of life and the nation’s economy.
“US News & World Report” released its list of the best countries to live in the world, and Mexico stood at number 27 worldwide, and second best place to live in Latin America.
This list evaluates the overall performance of 60 countries and how they are perceived by the people of the world, reason why the list is based on a survey of more than 16,000 people worldwide, who rated each country according to categories such as adventure, citizenship, cultural influence, entrepreneurship, inheritance, community, power, the country’s openness for business and quality of life.

According to the website, Mexico is the third largest country in Latin America in geographical size and has the second largest economy; it’s a country with major cities, with beautiful terrain and Caribbean coasts that make it a unique nation.
Mexico is also home to the largest population of Spanish speakers, and its culture has reached every corner of Latin America and the world.
The country ranked as number one in Latin America was Brazil, which positioned at 20th place in a worldwide level; and globally, the country ranked as number one on the list was Germany, considered the most populous European country, with one of the largest economies in the world.
After Germany are Canada, Britain, the United States, Sweden, Australia, Japan, France, the Netherlands and Denmark.
