

Mexico and Kuwait signed 10 collaboration agreements while President Enrique Peña Nieto visited the Middle Eastern country.
During a meeting with Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, in the Bayan Palace where they exchanged awards, the leaders bared witness to the signing of agreements and memorandums.
An Understanding Memorandum on Academic and Diplomatic Collaboration was signed to promote collaborative activities in diplomatic training through the exchange of information. A cultural and artistic cooperation agreement was also signed.
In a similar way, tourism, energy cooperation and higher-level education cooperation memorandums were also signed by the two world leaders.
The leaders also witnessed the signing of an agreement about aerial services, to establish and operate specific routes. A memorandum of understanding in health was signed as well.

Another important agreement reached by the two leaders was between ProMéxico and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, an investment cooperation agreement intended for the promotion and increase of commercial relations.
Additionally, a memorandum of understanding between the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt) and the Kuwait Institute of Science and Research reached an agreement to cooperate in the science and technology fields, with the basis of equality and mutual benefit.
A cooperation protocol began between the National Bank of Foreign Trade (Bancomext) and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, that establishes distinct cooperation activities like corporate operations, corporate loans, finance project facilities and asset financing.
Bancomext also made a deal with the National Bank of Kuwait, in which was established a cooperation of activities such as corporate operations, corporate loans, finance project facilities and asset financing.
