

Agents of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), confiscated 3,600 kilograms (7,937 pounds), of psychotropic pills in Mérida, Yucatán, on Tuesday June 23rd.
According to the PGR, the assurance was derived from a citizen’s tip.
The Federal Agents, with the support of two canine units, performed the operation on the premises of a courier company located at kilometer 46.5 of the Periférico, in the city of Merida, where a total of 192 cardboard boxes were found containing the psychotropic substance.

PGR reported that the shipment came from the state of Quintana Roo, with destination in the state of Puebla (Central Mexico).
The boxes were made available to the Prosecutor of the Federation on duty, who continues to carry out the legal procedures for the integration of the investigation against person or persons responsible for crimes against health.
