The Governor of the Mexican Northern State of Chihuahua, César Duarte Jáquez, said that Texas Governor is using attacks against Hispanics for electoral purposes.
“Texas Gov. Rick Perry is a racist politician who is using attacks against Hispanics for electoral purposes”, Governor of Chihuahua César Duarte Jáquez declared on a Press Conference.
“Perry assumes racist attitudes against Hispanic migrants, but at the same time he brags about being a democratic president in a country that is distinguished for the defense of human rights,” He also said.
Duarte referred to the statement made by the Texas governor about increasing border surveillance.
“First, Perry speaks about the presence of Islamic militants threatening the border and then he talks about migration, then about the kids, which only generates hostilities on the border,” Duarte Jáquez explained.
“I hope Governor Perry realizes that we are living in the human rights age, not in the racism age, which he intends to re-impose and re-introduce” concluded the governor of Chihuahua.
