The grand opening of their first store in Merida took place on Thursday, August 7th and it is located on the corner of Prolongación Paseo de Montejo and Calle 21, Colonia Buenavista. Two days later, on Saturday August 9th, Waldo’s announced the official opening of two more stores, one on Calle 58 (x 63 and 65), and the other one on Calle 63, (x 54 and 56), both in Downtown Merida.
The inauguration was led by Javier Sarro Cortina, CEO of the group; Ivonne Sánchez Armas Alvelais, Logistics y Distribution Director; David Alpizar Carrillo, State Secretary of Economic Development; Jorge Méndez Vales, IMSS Delegate, and Jorge Adrián Pérez Hernández, manager of the new store.
A shop like Waldo’s can be a great shopping option for the Expat Community in Merida, because they offer all sorts of useful household items at affordable prices, a great variety of products, their location on Prolongación Paseo de Montejo is easily accessible and they have a parking lot big enough for several vehicles.
