MERIDA — More than 40 brands in the automotive repair sector will be present in the 6th edition of the Automotive Mechanical Expo, which has been held consecutively since 2012 in this city and which offers as main attraction the training and free skills upgrade to automotive technicians and mechanics who visit the event.
In this edition, which will take place at the Uxmal 1 Salon of the Convention and Exhibition Center Yucatan Siglo XXI, the most prestigious brands in Mexico and in the world will be offering a sample of their products, services. The most innovative training in the automotive industry will be presented through 10 conferences and technical training in which the brands such as NGK Spark Plugs stand out with a training called: “Diagnosis and Technical Aspects of NGK Spark Plugs”, Mobil Lubricants with “High Performance Lubricants training”, among others.
These trainings are free thanks to the support of the brands that participate in the event and sponsor the same, since usually many of these trainings must be obtained through updates that are usually at a high cost.
In addition the attendants will be able to find discounts and promotions by the participating brands in the acquisition of tools and supplies for workshops and for automotive repair and diagnosis.
With more than 40 exhibiting companies from all over the country and in the region, such as lubricants, wheels sellers, spare parts, spark plugs, distributors of tools and workshop equipment, automotive diagnostic equipment, clutch, brakes, distributors, among others, Expo Mecánica constitutes a reflection for the diversity of the sector, offering to the visitors, the most complete and representative showcase for the automotive spare parts industry in the Southeast.

This event is organized by Peninsular Specialized Lubricants, under the auspices of the State Government through the Ministry of Economic Development and the patronage CULTUR, as well as sponsoring brands.
The activities of this event will start next Saturday, October 7 at 10:30 a.m. with the traditional opening ribbon cut with the presence of government authorities, business chambers, and representatives of mechanics for later start with the tour through the stands.
Throughout the day, the exhibitors will be offering their products and services at special prices, in which attendees, in addition to being able to find auto parts and spare parts at very low prices, will be able to participate in draws to win attractive prizes, courtesy of the sponsors.
The trainings will be done in the lobby of the Uxmal Hall, a hall that will be attached to the venue and which can be registered up to 20 minutes before. The attendees will be able to obtain a certificate endorsed by each exhibitor.
There will also have the presence of regional comedy shows of high level with the purpose of offering a space of entertainment to all the family within the frame of the celebrations of the day of the mechanic (September 19).
On October 8 the activities will start at 10 o’clock with the opening of doors and with the continuation of the second phase of training to finish at 6:00 pm with a surprise show to finish the event.
The entry is completely free and the time of the event will be on Saturday, October 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m and on Sunday, October 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
