INFINITI opens auto dealership in Cancun

CANCUN — The automotive firm INFINITI opened the doors of its 10th INFINITI Center in Mexico, located in the city of Cancun, Quintana Roo. This project is the first of three that will take place as part of the expansion strategy of 40% of their distribution network for 2017.

According to a statement, this new collaboration between INFINITI Mexico and Autosur Group joins with the INFINITI Center in the city of Mérida, which opened its doors in 2013. With this, sales of INFINITI Centers in Merida and Cancun will represent approximately 10 % of brand sales in Mexico.

In this regard, Philipp Heldt, general director of INFINITI for Mexico and Latin America, said that Cancun has become a development hub and one of the country’s fastest growing cities. “It is also a city with clients that are looking for a different premium experience that includes not only high quality cars, design and performance, but also a specialized attention close to their needs.”

The facilities of this new INFINITI Center ensure exclusivity and maximum levels of hospitality to customers, and that is why this inauguration consolidates INFINITI as one of the fastest growing brands in the premium market in Mexico, he said.

Also the opening coincides with the biggest product sales strategy in the country’s history that included the arrival in the last year of innovative models such as the Q50 400 Sport high performance sedan, the QX60 seven-passenger SUV, the crossover Compact QX30 and the sporty SUV QX70; to which will be added the Q60, sports coupé of the brand, said Philipp Heldt.

The INFINITI Cancun Center is located at Av. Bonampak Manzana 1 Lot 6, Supermanzana 8 and has an area of 2,162.27 m2 of land and 2,189.77 m2 of construction.

In addition to Cancun, INFINITI will add new centers located in Toluca and Satelite in Mexico City in the coming months. This expansion is in line with the strategy of offering a big portfolio of vehicles in key locations in the country’s premium segment, which has at the moment resulted in reaching 35 consecutive months of record sales, which reaffirms the brand’s acceptance in the country.
