Volaris flight 714 , which was scheduled to depart at 7:35 am Tuesday Dec. 8 from Mexico City International Airport, bound for Cancun, was evacuated after a call that warned the crew of a “suspicious object” on board.
According to the news portal Milenio, after the alert, security protocols were activated, and the aircraft crew proceeded to the evacuation of passengers in the security zone of the Mexico City Airport.
The Federal Police is currently conducting an inspection of the plane.
