After the terrorist attacks in France last month, where more than 100 people were killed and injured, airport security in Mexico has increased.

The Government of Mexico took action to strengthen security, surveillance and intelligence at strategic points where foreign visitors arrive.

These measures apply to international airports in Cancun, Quintana Roo; Tijuana, Baja California; Monterrey, Nuevo León; Guadalajara, Jalisco and Mexico City (AICM).
