On October 30, 31 and November 1, the “Parque de las Palapas”, located in Downtown Cancun will host the 5th “Day of the Dead Festival Cancun 2015“.
The festival organized by the municipal government, the Institute of Culture and Arts, the CROC and the Municipal Tourism Office, will be open from 5pm to 10pm.
Entrance is free of charge and will feature several activities such as: Characterized Catrinas Contest, an exhibit of Mexican Day of the Dead altars, local and regional gastronomy, “Spectral Visitation”photographic exhibition , a literary presentation of traditional “Calaveritas” and an extensive artistic program that will take on the stage at Parque de las Palapas.
