Rolando Zapata Receives Recognition as Mexico´s Best Governor

Rolando Zapata Bello, the Executive Chief of Yucatan, reached the first place on the evaluation of best governor of the country , according to the last study “Image and Positioning of Governors Report”, elaborated by the Covarrubias y Asociados S.C. Consultant Firm.

The research conducted by Covarrubias y Asociados includes subjects such as:

  • Global Governance
  • Unemployment
  • Fight against Organized Crime
  • Corruption
  • Education
  • Public Works
  • Health Support
  • Supportive Housing
  • Economic Development
  • Poverty Reduction
  • Agriculture
  • Transparency

On the governors ranking, Rolando Zapata obtained the highest score with 7.31%, while his state administration scored 7.44%

The Yucatecan leader was previously placed among the five best governors of the country, but on the latest public opinion evaluation carried out from February 16th to March 30th 2015, he reached the first place in the Mexico´s Governors category.

The people of Yucatán back their trust on the government of Rolando Zapata Bello for the work made on public security, education, agriculture, and support to those in extreme poverty situation.

Most of the people in Yucatan (81% of the consulted people on the last three months) feel safe living in the state. This security awareness increased on the two last surveys (from the 77 to 81%).

The analysis reveals a high level of public trust (81%) on the capability of their Governor to face the security challenge.

Therefore, 72% of the citizenship declared that Zapata Bello has fulfilled his campaign promises.

Finally, according to the Consultant Firm Covarrubias y Asociados S.C., Yucatecans consider that their state is more safe than any other in Mexico.
