Young Mexican Protester Returns to Mexico

Adán Cortés, the young man who interrupted the Nobel peace awards with a Mexican flag, in protest for the situation in our country finally returned to Mexico after remaining detained by Norwegian authorities for several days.

With relatives, friends and supporters yelling slogans like “you are not alone” and “we are all Ayotzinapa”, young Adán Cortés, who interrupted the ceremony of the Nobel peace award with a Mexican flag in his hands, arrived on a flight from Germany to the International Airport of Mexico City.

He was received at 7:50 p.m. by around a hundred people, and was hugged by his parents and siblings, after being deported by the Norwegian government.

His mother, while she was expecting his arrival from Frankfurt, declared to Mexico City Newspaper “EL UNIVERSAL” that, even in light of the controversy surrounding the way he protested, she is “very proud of him”.
