Agents of the Judicial Police are investigating the murder of 24-year-old Patricia Alpuche Chuc, who it is believed was murdered by her ex boyfriend on Calle 26-B (between 41 and 43), colonia El Roble.

The body was found by the victim’s father. The victim, who had been reported missing nine days ago, was found half buried on the property of the mother of Mario Alberto Flores Valencia, a former boyfriend of the victim, who originally from Tabasco and who is now presumed to be a fugitive.

According to neighbors and family, Patricia was married with two children when she met Mario Alberto.  Both left their respective spouses to engage in a relationship that was short-lived and which ended in tragedy.

On Monday June 28 the neighbors saw Patricia Alpuche arguing in the street with “Pato” (as Mario Alberto is known). At 11 pm that evening, the victim, who was accompanied by two friends, received a call from Mario Alberto and left to meet with him.  That was the last time she was seen alive.

The next day, Patricia’s  family notified the Ministerio Público that she was missing. Her relatives placed posters on poles and telephone booths along the neighborhood with her photograph and other information (1.40 meters tall, white skin, long black hair, tattoo on left hand).  The poster even pointed to Mario Alberto Flores as a possible factor in her disappearance, since according to family and friends, he was constantly threatening and harassing her.

One week later, Mario Alberto’s mother came from Tabasco to the property on Calle 26-B, which had been previously searched by the police.  The neighbors alerted Patricia’s father who soon showed up at the house.  When he stepped into the back yard he discovered the body of his daughter partially buried in a sack.

24-year-old Patricia Guadalupe Alpuche Chuc left two children orphaned.

Neighbors said “Pato” was known in the neighborhood for hanging out outside his home with other individuals to drink alcohol and apparently consume drugs.
Elements of Immediate Response Tactical Squad (ETRI), and the reaction Assaults Against Organized Crime group (ROCA), both from the Attorney General’s Office, conducted an investigation into the two-story property.  It is so far unknown how the woman came to the house and how she was killed.
State authorities of Yucatan are now collaborating with their counterpart in the state of Tabasco to find the suspect Mario Alberto Flores Valencia.
