President Peña Nieto received the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe with military honors

President Enrique Peña Nieto, accompanied by his wife Angélica Rivera received the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie Abe at the National Palace, Downtown Mexico City.

On Friday July 25th, at 13:30 hours President Peña and Prime Minister Abe  offered a message to the media in the Central Courtyard of the National Palace, where they signed several cooperation agreements in Economic, Environmental, Oil and Trade areas.

Then, the leaders headed toward the Presidential Office for a scheduled private meeting.

The Mexican  President was accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister José Antonio Meade and by the Ministers of the Environment, Juan José Guerra; Economy: Ildefonso Guajardo; Agriculture: Enrique Martínez; Communications and Transport: Gerardo Ruiz Esparza; Health: Juan Mercedes López; Tourism: Claudia Ruiz Massieu; the Chief of the Office of the Presidency: Aurelio Nuño; PEMEX Director: Emilio Lozoya and other members of the Presidential Staff.
