Inauguration of Central American and Caribbean Art Exhibition

As part of the historical and cultural exchange with the Caribbean countries, artists from Mexico , Haiti, Honduras and Trinidad and Tobago will exhibit their works in the state of Yucatán through the exhibitions “Muestra travesías. Arte mexicano, centroamericano y del Caribe de la SHCP” and  “AEC, 20 años unidos por la cultura”.

The event was inaugurated in the Siglo XXI Convention Centerby the Secretary of Economic Development of the State, David Alpizar Castillo, and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña. The exposition consists of 43 works of art, which were restored by the specialist of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), Rafael Pérez Pérez .



Some of the Mexican and Caribbean artists that we can find during the exhibition are Rodolfo Morales, Ana Portilla , Leroy Clarke, Beningno Gomez, Mario Castillo, Armando Lara Moses Becerra and Luis Padilla.
