The collective mákinadT who are interested in improvisation of sound and physical processes are due to perform in Mérida, Yucatán, at the Olimpo Cultural Center during the months of April and May. They will present the interdisciplinary work ‘Eco’ as part of the Olimpo Cultural Season 2014.

The work explores, with body movement, sound and image, the different ways of looking at the echo and its resonance. Diana explains “Our ancestors, the daily experiences we live, what we see, hear and feel, resonates within us, and largely determines who we are and how we act. The world around us is in constant resonance, we are an “Eco”.”

The performances start on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th April at 20:00 hrs at the Olimpo Cultural Center Auditorium located at the central plaza on calle 61 Merida centro, with tickets available for $50, or concessions $25 for students and Inapam. The work is aimed at anyone interested in being immersed in a piece using various art disciplines and forms.
