New Real Estate Training Center in Cancún

Advisors and Real Estate Developers of the State of Quintana Roo have now the first training center that will make them more competitive in the new markets. The Center for Training, Research and Statistics (Centro de Capacitación Investigación y Estadística) is an intiative  of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI), which aims to find new areas of opportunity, in order to have not only well prepared sales agents, but certified Real Estate Professional Advisors, who handle more accurate data and greater knowledge regarding this industry.

According to the State President of AMPI, Miguel Ángel Lemus Mateos, in this new center, Real Estate Association members will be properly instructed, providing them with updated information on the sector, with the collaboration of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI). AMPI members who take the course will obtain an offcial certification endorsed by the Ministry of Public Education (Secretaría de Educación Pública) and if the new Real State Law is approved, this certification will be required for all those dedicated to sell Real Estate in the region.

This project is part of the new board of AMPI Quintana Roo enterprises, whose leaders main task is to revive U.S. investment and attract new markets and buyers of homes. Thats why the importance of having the tools to give to developers of Cancun the accurate data, exact number of projects and units available.

AMPI already has a National Center for Training, Research and Statistics (CCIE) in Mexico City, but there are also online courses in which members can subscribe for induction classes, workshops, data updates and a virtual library where they can find information, historic data and articles of interest. The intention to build one of these centers in the city of Cancun was a project that the association had for over a year, and finally, will become a reality.
