“Warm to hot temperatures will prevail today in Yucatan, due to the permanence of an anticyclonic system over the region,” said the Director of the Conagua, Roberto Pinzón Álvarez.

According to CONAGUA, the maximum temperature today will be 32ºC (89ºF) and a low of 20ºC (68ºF), however, moderate showers are expected in some parts of the Yucatan Peninsula, especially during the afternoon, with winds from the Southeast  of 12 to 21 miles per hour, which is caused by the entrance of cold front number 33.

The highest temperature yesterday was registered in the South of the State, where the thermometer reached 36ºC (96ºF)  in the municipality of Peto.

So, even when it looks cloudy, the temperatures continue rising in Yucatan.
