Cold front 34 will bring more rain to the Yucatan Peninsula this week

Today, hot temperatures are expected to continue in Merida, as the National Weather Commission (Conagua) predicts mostly sunny skies with a maximum of 32ºC (89ºF) and a minimum of 20ºC (68ºF).

The chances of rain for today are minimal but there could be some isolated showers, mainly in the East of the State, due to the influence of a tropical maritime air.

Rain is expected for tomorrow, nevertheless, temperatures will remain high, with a maximum that will range between 30ºC (86ºF) and 35ºC (95ºF) over the coming days .

On Wednesday, cold front number 34, which runs from northern Chihuahua to Veracruz, will cause moderate to heavy rain in Eastern and Southeastern Mexico. In Yucatan these conditions will prevail during the weekend.
