A Canadian woman established in the Yucatan coast was apprehended by the police yesterday, after ravaging various cars of a local mechanic shop after complaining to the mechanic for not repairing her car.

The lady, later identified as Lillian Bucosky, had her revenge after  jumping over several vehicles that were parked within the shop. Joel Ramiro Euán a resident of San Crisanto and a neighbor of Ms. Bucosky was also arrested, because he allegedly assaulted the mechanic.

The arrest was made on Calle 48 (x 31 and 33) colonia Francisco I. Madero, in Progreso, where the woman arrived with her companion and climbed upon the “hoods” of four vehicles parked inside the shop, they also striped paint of some vehicles that were on the site for maintenance.

Nathan Chablé, the shop owner, called the police for help because he also was beaten. When the cops arrived at the site, the Canadian stated that the mechanic was six months without fixing her vehicle and that she was very upset. She said that she had previously denounced the prosecution to the Public Ministry. Finally, the two detainees were referred to the proper authorities and taken to the public jail in Progreso Police Headquarters, their legal situation is yet to be determined by the Municipal authorities.
