Campeche presents a newfangled aspect to get to know the State and make every event memorable, by using the slogan “I want to be there” (Quiero estar ahí), this destination highlights the best of its historical heritage, natural beauty, and a wide array of tourist and cultural attractions that make visitors “want to be there”.

More than 800 hotel rooms for business travelers are available in this awesome seaside colonial town. Conferences and conventions for the academic, medical, scientific and construction industries among others, are held annually in the magnificent XVI Century walled City of San Francisco de Campeche.

The Convention and Exhibition Center Campeche XXI is surrounded by historical landmarks such as forts, bastions, squares, colonial buildings and massive stone walls that surround the Campeche Downtown area featuring all kinds of architectural ocean side scenarios from the XVI and XVII centuries, that make you feel like being in the middle of an Errol Flynn movie.

The Campeche XXI Convention and Exhibition Center has versatile facilities with large spaces that can hold all kinds of  business or social events. At the same time, this complex is equipped with state of the art audio, video and illumination systems.

When it comes to air connections, there are direct flights from Mexico City to Campeche with different airlines such as Aeromexico, Interjet and Vivaaerobus.

CIUDAD DEL CARMEN

And then, 120 miles (190 km) West of Campeche lies Ciudad del Carmen, where the industrial activity highlights with its fully restored historic center and the recently inaugurated Carmen XXI Convention Center.

Ciudad del Carmen features Shopping Centers, restaurants and recreational areas, making it the perfect spot for Conventions and Exhibitions. The city  offers 1,400 hotel rooms, many of them with an ocean view, from which you can spot dolphins on the beach or the breath takingl view of the “Laguna de Terminos,” beautiful protected natural area that can be explored by those who seek adventure.

Tatiana Macossay, Campeche State Congress and Conventions Director, declared on a press conference last week: “We really hope that event organizers can be aware of all the good things that Campeche has to offer, and bring their groups to our state, which is an all inclusive destination and that way they can always say: “I want to be there
