After two days of bad weather, warm temperatures are expected for today and the rest of the weekend in the Yucatan Peninsula.

According to the National Weather Commission (CONAGUA), the rain potential will decrease significantly in the State, for the weekend.

The maximum temperature for the following two days in the region will range between 30ºC (86ºF) and 35ºC (95ºF) and the minimum between 18 ºC (64ºF) and 22ºC (71ºF).

“For the moment wee do not expect the presence of any cold front, but we must remember that January and February are the months with greater potential for cold fronts,” declared the Director of CONAGUA, Roberto Pinzón Álvarez.

The rains this month have exceeded the historical average of January, which is 35.4 millimeters. Until yesterday 56 mm had fallen, what means an increase of 58 %.
