Continuation of “Real Estate Fraud in Celestun” (Right of reply)

On the 18th of December 2013, The Yucatan Times published an article regarding a land conflict in the town of Celestun, Yucatan (http://www.theyucatantimes.com/2013/12/real-estate-fraud-in-celestun/). Following publication of the article, Mr. Carlos Manuel Gallareta Chacon contacted us identifying himself as the owner of the land mentioned in the article and requested a “right of reply”.

His original statement in Spanish was translated into English, and was reviewed and accepted by Mr. Carlos Manuel Gallareta Chacon as a faithful translation.  Accordingly, we have provided space for Mr. Carlos Gallareta Chacon to publish the statement below:
