cancun_nr_puerto_morelos2Beginning July 1st the program All Inclusive In & Out will begin in eight hotels in Puerto Morelos with a cost of $150 USD per day in double room or $79 USD per person. The guest will have benefits such as food, tours to the reef, the route of the cenotes and discounts at craft stores, among others.

Ernesto Muñoz Rodrigo, president of the Trust for Tourism Promotion in Puerto Morelos, reported that hoteliers, restaurateurs and service providers have already signed contracts to carry out this program. He explained that it will be a total of 280 rooms offering this modality and for a small extra fee the tourists can also get the benefits of going snorkeling, diving, fishing or even have a night in a nightclub in Cancun with transportation included.

“There is good response from service providers who rely on this form of package to help them to improve their economy during the low seasons,” said Ernesto Muñoz.

The hotels that have confirmed their participation so far are the Ojo de Agua, Hacienda Morelos, Villas Latinas, Posada Amor, Hotel Inglaterra, Posada El Moro, La Casita Blanca and Silvia Hotel’s.

Travel agencies have already started working on reservations with this new system, and the influx of tourists in the system All Inclusive In & Out will begin to reflect this summer.

Similar programs have been developed in places like Aruba and Bermuda, the only difference is that is handled through an electronic card and is only for a certain number of meals.

Rodrigo Muñoz said that soon more hotels and service providers will join, as there is confidence that the program All Inclusive In & Out will allow them to maintain 100% occupancy during summer and 50% during September, which is low season.
