New attempt to bring Paul McCartney to Chichen Itza

The director of the patronage CULTUR Jorge Esma Bazan is waiting for Paul McCartney to get done with his macro concerts and tours to set a date for the Chichen Itza Concert.

The concert of the ex Beatle Paul McCartney planned for last March was cancel because the schedule of the artist and for a prohibition by the electoral law that banned massive events as this one according to the Gov. Ortega Pacheco

However Esma Bzan denied that because the electoral law McCartney canceled his performance in the archeological zone.

The CULTUR official point out that after McCartney’s concert in the Zocalo in Mexico City on May 10, he will meet with his manager in order to keep preparing the concert in Chichen Itza.

Esma Bazan highlighted that this is not a free admission event, there is not a state or federal budget assigned to the performance, all the monies will be obtained by sponsors, tickets sales, T.V. companies, etc, just like any other concert.
