Inauguration of the work of the Third International Congress of Mayan Culture
With the assurance that the papers and contributions contribute to the deepening and preservation of the civilization of Mayab, the mayor Angelica Araujo Lara opened this night the work of the Third International Congress of Mayan Culture.
Addressing more than 200 experts from the United States, Guatemala, Germany, Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia and Mexico, the municipal president of Mérida launched at the Armando Manzanero Theater of this city the meeting to be held from March 13 to 19.
With the assurance that contributions of researchers and specialists of the Mayan culture demonstrate that the legacy of our ancestors is more alive and present than ever, the Mayor of Merida welcomed domestic and foreign participants.
